My Orthodox Christian faith shapes how I understand work, responsibility, generosity, and care for others. These writings are a modest contribution to reflecting on everyday life in the light of Scripture and the Church Fathers. They grow from my theological studies and my desire to understand more deeply how faith is lived through stewardship, service, and love of neighbor.

An Orthodox Approach to Wealth Management as a Path to Healing and Salvation
Master of Theological Studies thesis · Antiochian House of Studies
How do earning, spending, receiving, and giving relate to the Christian life? This MTS thesis brings these questions together through an Orthodox understanding of stewardship. Using thematic analysis of Scripture, informed by the Church Fathers and Orthodox scholarship, it examines ethical labor, fair compensation, prudent spending, and the spiritual dangers of attachment to wealth. Almsgiving emerges as an expression of love and a means of healing from self-love, situated within the life of faith and the journey toward communion with God. The thesis invites reflection on how everyday material decisions can serve our families, neighbors, and the Church.

Diligence and Almsgiving for God’s Glory, Spiritual Growth, and the Path to Salvation
Orthodox Academic Society · 2025 Summer Symposium
This conference paper brings the theology of receiving and the theology of giving into a shared Orthodox understanding of stewardship. It connects diligent and ethical labor, just compensation, and responsible care for entrusted resources with the calling to give in humility and love. Drawing on Scripture and patristic teaching, it considers almsgiving as a spiritual discipline that responds to human need while confronting attachment to wealth and self-love. Its central invitation is to understand work and material blessings within a life directed toward God, service to others, and spiritual growth.
